I’m Holly and I have been a member of the Admiral Family since 2003 when I started as a Customer Service Agent in our Cardiff office. Within a year I decided to pursue my education further and Admiral was really supportive while I juggled the demands of school and work. I am happy to say I completed my teaching certificate and shortly thereafter was promoted to the position of Trainer in the Renewals and Customer Service Department in Swansea. When the opportunity came along to go to Canada, in 2007, for a 6 month term and assist with training, I immediately jumped onboard. I confess I loved the city and the people so much I decided to stay and work in Halifax permanently.
What I appreciate most about Admiral is the freedom to be yourself and that everyone within the organization has a voice. We are encouraged to speak up and influence positive changes in the way we support the needs of our customers and our team mates. As the Training Manager, I share our team’s commitment to ensuring we consider individual learning styles when designing our training programs. We do our best to provide the training our staff require in order to meet the needs of our customers in a fun and interesting way. We offer in class and online training, as well as one to one coaching and peer support. Admiral is truly a company that appreciates their employees and is committed to developing and supporting them.
